About Iris
Iris Cai (CPCC, PCC) is a leadership coach and consultant at YSC Consulting, a global leadership consultancy that is part of Accenture.
In her practice, Iris helps individuals and organizations refine and express their purpose and values, leading them to become their best selves. A lover of narratives, she uses storytelling to help clients build psychological safety and a greater sense of belonging. She has consulting expertise in executive coaching, assessment, psychometrics, values and culture, purpose, and leadership resilience.
Iris has worn many hats across many industries (including telecommunications, retail, and higher education), but has always focused on helping others. It’s this breadth of knowledge and focus on people that allows her to build strong relationships with clients from many backgrounds. She prides herself on bringing multidisciplinary, innovative, pragmatic, and client-centric solutions to her work.
Before YSC, Iris was a marketing leader and strategist who brought many go-to-market projects to life for TELUS, one of Canada’s top 3 telecommunication companies. In her personal development career, she created and facilitated leadership development programs for numerous clients, ran her own consultancy, and coached hundreds of MBA students at the University of British Columbia.
Growing up in China, Iris began her studies in English literature. She later moved to Vancouver, Canada, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Simon Fraser University. Driven by her interest in the science of human potential, she later completed her Master of Applied Positive Psychology degree at the University of Pennsylvania.
Outside of work, Iris can be found volunteering or enjoying Vancouver’s arts and culture scene.
